Jen Anderson
Jen Anderson is an artist, poet, educator, and eco-somatic practitioner whose work explores creativity as an embodied, relational, and ecological practice. She is the creator of Creative Communion, an evolving body of work and teaching philosophy that integrates art-making, somatic practice, ritual, and connection to the natural world.
Working with classical egg tempera made from the eggs of her own hens, plant-based pigments, pressed botanicals, handmade charcoal and watercolor, natural fibers, and handwoven basketry, Jen creates tactile, process-centered works inspired by seasonality, symbolism, and the innate intelligence of the land she tends.
Through her teaching, she encourages participants to engage creativity as a meaningful practice of attention, intuition, kinship, and personal transformation.
Her work is rooted in reverence for handmade process, reciprocal relationship with nature, and the belief that creativity can serve as a pathway toward deeper connection with self, soul, and community.
