Learn and enjoy a technique called Sgraffito (“to scratch”).  Build a tall cup using slab rolled clay. Sketch snowflake ideas on paper. Choose an underglaze color that will be exposed to create a two toned design. Take a lunch break and let the cup dry. After our break we will Sgraffito a unique snowflake design onto the surface.
