There is a whole clay world that does not use a wheel. This class will cover hand building techniques used for functional, tile and sculptural forms. Pinch, coil, soft slab, and stiff slab methods will be covered. We will also cover using the extruders and slab roller as tools. Specific topics will be directed by student interest and project ideas.
