Ethnic art has shaped Shakun’s life since childhood. A practitioner and teacher of Rangoli and traditional Indian tribal arts, including Gond, Warli, and Mandana, she draws on their storytelling, symbolism, and reverence for nature. Made possible by a 2025 Minnesota State Arts Board Indivudal Artist Grant.
