Art Discussions & Critique Seminars (Salon Series)

6/22/07
White Bear Lake, MN
– Meet other local artists, enjoy casual conversation about art related topics and give/get feedback on your own works of art in an open, informal and friendly atmosphere. The White Bear Center for the Arts (WBCA) is hosting a series of art discussions & critiques designed for the working artist as well as beginning artists. The discussions/critiques will be Thursdays July 19 & 26 from 7:30-8:30PM at the White Bear City Hall, 4701 Highway 61, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.

Each 1.5 hour session will be a structured art critique of 2D and/or 3D media works of art and discussion on art related topics. Everyone is encouraged to bring a piece of their own artwork with a goal of covering 3-4 works of art each session. We hope these will be lively sessions where participants learn something new about the world of art and share experiences on how to grow and flourish as an artist both technically and personally.

These seminars are structured to be pay-as-you-go. Tuition is $10 for WBCA Members/$15 Non-Member per session. Please register in advance by contacting the WBCA at 651-407-0597 or wbca@whitebeararts.org so we know how many people will be attending.
