Raku Firing at White Bear Center for the Arts

What: Participate in a Raku firing, a 400 year old Japanese pottery process where the still glowing hot stoneware pot is removed from the hot kiln and put directly into straw, sawdust or newspapers or allowed to cool in the open air. WBCA will provide stoneware pots to purchase, glaze and fire that night! All proceeds will benefit the WBCA clay program. Family friendly. Bring the family to watch, or purchase pots to glaze and fire. Proceeds from the pots are part of our ART WATCH fundraiser.

When: Thursday, July 12, 6-9PM

Where: White Bear Lake Armory, 2228 Fourth Street, White Bear Lake, MN 55110
