Let’s Go Van Gogh!
Art Class for Grades 1-5
Students will explore the varied styles of well known and appreciated artists such as Van Gogh, Cezanne, Salvador Dali and Picasso. Each student will then create a fun and individualized art project inspired by the forms and styles studied. At the end of this 3 week course, students will display their finished masterpieces for family and friends in an informal art show.
Classes are located at the Community Services office located in the White Bear Lake Area School District Center at 4855 Bloom Avenue. The District Center is adjacent to Central Middle School. The instructor Roberta Wrobel of White Bear Center for the Arts has over fifteen years of experience as a graphic designer. She has also taught graphic design at both the high school and college level. She currently teaches continuing education courses at Century College and works as a substitute teacher for the Anoka-Hennepin School District.
