Watch the Furnace Roar and Molten Iron Flow
at the Annual Iron Pour Event Sponsored by the White Bear Center for the Arts
Mark your calendar for the famously popular and always sizzling IRON POUR on September 30th, from 4-9PM downtown White Bear Lake in conjunction with the 8th Annual White Bear Art Walk. Using recycled iron from cast iron scrap and old radiators, the IRON POUR takes the art of iron-work to the next level. Sand tiles carved by the public in workshops being held September 16 and 21 will
be poured with molten iron to create spectacular works of art. See experts of this ancient art merge elements of a red hot furnace and molten iron to create a roaring energy of sparks and flames. Bring the entire family and a lawn chair to experience this exciting evening of hot iron and cool art.
Find out how to carve your own tile in one of our workshops and see photos from past IRON POURS by visiting www.whitebeararts.org. This event is sponsored by White Bear Center for the Arts (WBCA) and Foundry Education Fine Arts (FEFA).
White Bear Center for the Arts is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build creative and culturally rich communities in the White Bear area by providing arts experiences for children, adults, and families.
