Workshop: Make Your Own Iron Tile
Carve a sand block to be poured with recycled iron and made into a tile at the White Bear Center for the Arts Iron Pour
Create a 10”x10” iron tile for the garden, as a house marker, memorial or unique indoor art! Learn how to carve a sand block mold that will be cast with molten iron at an IRON POUR.
The sand blocks are easy to carve and make a great project to work on together with a friend or family member. Many of the most successful tiles from the last IRON POUR were the simplest designs. Price includes one tile, but participants may purchase more than one sand block mold to create a series or mosaic of tiles.
Advance registration is required by calling the White Bear Center for the Arts at 651.407.0597 or visit our website www.whitebeararts.org. A limited number of tiles are available, SO REGISTER EARLY.
