Burger & Fries from 2006 Sand Castles Contest

Annual Sand Castles & Creatures Contest

June 21, 2008 from 10 AM - Noon (Part of Manitou Days)
Memorial Beach by West Park on Lake Avenue in White Bear Lake.

Gather your family and friends to build an original sand castle, sand creature or sand sculpture at the Sand Castles & Creatures Contest as a part of Manitou Days. The contest is every year at Memorial Beach by West Park on Lake Avenue in White Bear Lake. Registration begins at 10AM with judging and prizes at 12 Noon.

Everyone who registers is awarded a prize. Creation categories are Best Beast, Best Castle and Most Original. Creator categories are ages 14 and under, ages 15 & up, and family.

Refreshments will be provided but you are encouraged to bring your own shovels, buckets and sand carving tools. This annual free event for all ages and the whole family is sponsored by the White Bear Center for the Arts and co-sponsored by Northern Design and Culver's.
